My heart is filled with sadness with the news of Jon's passing. I met Shawn and Jon when we were 5 years old in Kindergarten at Lincoln Elementary and went to school with them through Kennedy junior high and then Monta Vista high school. It has been years since I have seen Jon, though the Blick boys have always held a special place in my heart as we truly grew up together. It was 45 years ago when I met the Blick boys and I still remember that Jon was one of the most charismatic people even at the young age of 5. He was the object of many school girl crushes through the years and always handled that extra attention with such grace and kindness. He had a way of making everyone around him feel special. In looking through old year books and memories, Jon was often voted best looking and best smile, but he was also extremely kind and had a huge heart. Shawn and Marcia, I am so sorry for your devastating loss. May you find some comfort in knowing that Jon's life, while far too short, touched so many people through his years.
